Fairfax and Leesburg, VA – Nine lawyers from northern Virginia’s McCandlish Lillard law firm have been selected to the 2017 Virginia Super Lawyers and 2017 Virginia Rising Stars list.
Each year, no more than five percent of the lawyers in the state are selected by the research team at Super Lawyers to receive the designation of Super Lawyers. The 2017 list includes Gary W. Brown (named in Personal Injury), Alan B. Croft (Business Litigation), John W. Farrell (Land Use/Zoning), Elizabeth L. Gray (Elder Law), R. Peyton Mahaffey (Business Litigation), Stephen C. Price (Real Estate), Douglas J. Sanderson (Family Law), and Benjamin J. Trichilo (Workers’ Compensation). Most of the firm’s attorneys named as a result of this year’s survey have been honored previously.
William J. Walsh was selected to the 2017 Virginia Rising Stars list (Business/Corporate), a list that includes no more than 2.5 percent of the lawyers in the state.
In addition to being named to the 2017 Virginia Super Lawyers list, R. Peyton Mahaffey was named to both the Top 100: 2017 Virginia Super Lawyers list and to the Top 100: 2017 Washington DC Super Lawyers list. Elizabeth L. Gray was among those on the Top 50: 2017 Women Virginia Super Lawyers list.
