Emily C. Brown
Emily is a member of the firm’s civil litigation practice group. Emily joined the firm after serving as law clerk to the Honorable Chief Judge Bruce D. White of the Fairfax County Circuit Court. Emily’s clerkship has provided her with a practical understanding of the Fairfax Circuit Court and extensive knowledge of the litigation process in Virginia state courts.
Emily graduated cum laude from George Mason University School of Law in 2016 and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from Virginia Tech in 2010. During law school, Emily was an intern for the Honorable Amy B. Jackson of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia and was a finalist in the 2015 William B. Bryant and Luke Charles Moore Invitational Moot Court Competition.
She is a member of the Virginia State Bar and is licensed to practice law in the state courts of Virginia. Prior to attending law school, Emily worked as a government contractor at the General Services Administration (GSA) in Washington, DC.
