Jenny T. Irwin

(703) 934-1125

Jenny T. Irwin joined McCandlish Lillard in 2018, after practicing law for seven years in Kentucky and Indiana.  Jenny’s practice is devoted equally to family law and estate planning matters.  Her family law practice includes representing clients dealing with a plethora of issues, including divorce, alimony, paternity, visitation, child custody, and child support.  Whether representing clients in a divorce or custody matter, helping a family in mediation, or serving as a guardian ad litem, Jenny focuses on the long-term impact of families and how the family unit can be made stronger. Jenny’s goal is to provide counsel and compassionately advocate for her clients throughout the difficult, emotional and, most often, unfamiliar legal process.  As a parent and stepparent herself, Jenny uses her personal and career experiences to relate to and make recommendations regarding the best interest of the children for families facing custody and visitation disputes.  Throughout the divorce process, Jenny is also focused on helping client’s value complex assets such as businesses, real estate, and pensions and retirement benefits so that a fair property allocation can be made.

Jenny also helps clients navigate any estate planning needs, including estate planning, estate and trust administration and guardianships.  She works closely with clients to achieve their specific goals when planning for the future.

When not practicing law, Jenny stays busy with her three kids, Mason, Emma and Henry, and husband, Jeramie.
