Laura Leibowitz works out of the firm’s Loudoun and Fairfax offices. Laura is a trial lawyer who devotes her practice to litigation of business torts, contract disputes, employment issues, real property disputes, community associations, and fiduciary issues, including will contests, breach of fiduciary duty claims.

Laura has over 20 years of experience as a litigator and has earned a reputation as an aggressive and thorough trial attorney.

Early in her career, Laura served as a criminal prosecutor for the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney for Fairfax County. After leaving the Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney, Laura practiced in a variety of areas of civil litigation with a particular focus on domestic relations, as well as criminal defense. More recently, Laura served the judges of the 20th Judicial District in the Circuit Court of Loudoun County as a staff attorney. Her work for the Court on complex civil matters provided her with a unique perspective and invaluable experience that she brings to her current practice.

Laura is able to quickly identify and address the legal issues in a situation in order to advise her clients and arrive at a strategy that will result in a successful resolution, whether through negotiation or litigation.
